First of all, I have to say. I was a bit naughty and stole this photo off the holy grail of google, as I just didn't think I would ever do a review of hair I didn't keep the box! This isn't the colour I used either, it's just the only decent sized photo I could find!!! I used the plain "Brown" colour. I thought I'd do a review on a hair dye, which I guess is a bit boring, but how many people stress over what hair dye to use every day? I know I did. So I thought this would be helpful to some of you!!

The first thing that I found odd (not bad, just odd) is that the dark brown in this range looked a lot darker than the regular brown?! Say whaaaat?! So I picked up the regular brown as I wanted a really dark colour, but I didn't want black.

The oil based formula is meant to make your hair look shinier and better condition, to be honest I didn't see much of a difference, but then as I use argan oil anyway, maybe that's why?!

I'm super happy with this dye and will definitely be using it again. The fact that is is ammonia free is spot on and the huge range of colours makes it a lot better than some other dyes too. It also has a velvety texture, therefore means that when you put it on your hair, it isn't going to run all over your face!!

Pros: Colour range
Colour effect
Oil based - good for your hair
No ammonia
silky look to your hair

Cons: Price maybe? £6.99 for one box when I use 2 is a bit pricey!
Don't rate the conditioner that comes with it
That's about it really?

Olia hair dye review!!

by on October 25, 2012
First of all, I have to say. I was a bit naughty and stole this photo off the holy grail of google, as I just didn't think I would ...

So the other day I thought I would treat myself to a little something that I personally thought sounded crazy. Absolutely mental. A foundation that you wear to bed? Enough said, I wanted to try this bad boy. Then I realised the hefty price tag of £45 for 4.2g of product, and thought I would try and find a smaller pot so I don't waste that amount of money on something I really hate! I therefore managed to find a smaller 2g size pot to try for around £20.
It's surprising though, how little product you use, so i'm pretty sure this is going to last me a fair while!

The experts say that this is " a groundbreaking nighttime mineral treatment that is powered by proprietary RareMinerals ActiveSoil complex. Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of pores, increase luminosity and deliver fast cell turnover resulting in miraculous skin renewing benefits."
It is said that it will  make your skin look younger, even out the skin tone and replenish skin while you sleep, it also comes in 3 colours, clear, light and tan. I got the light as I'm stupidly pale and though "why go for clear when I can look beautiful going to bed?!"
Sounds stupid I know, but when you stay at your boyfriends house regularly this is just a massive confidence booster!!

I've only used this a few times, and I can notice a difference in my skin already. My cheeks seem more radiant, my pores appear reduced and make up looks so much better, i'm losing a lot of redness and it is really helping with those hormonal red spots on my chin!

The only bad part about this (except for the price) is that the majority of women that use it will have a crisis period. (a week or so where your skin breaks out). This might sound horrific, but it needs to push all the bad stuff out before it can start working! All in all, I think I would be happy to pay this amount for the full pot if it carries on the way it is, however i'm going to need to try it a bit longer to REALLY have an opinion, so expect a follow up review!

This is my face and the look that I will tell you how to get!! My secret weapon?
This Witch BB cream:

So basically, let me explain to you what happened. Remember that Sleek BB cream I raved on about in a previous post? Well, my skin got really bad for the past month or so, and I couldn't work out why, I hadn't been eating different/getting stressed etc, so by process of elimination I came to the conclusion it was the Sleek BB cream breaking me out, 3 days off the stuff and my skin is back to normal! Few red marks here and there, but almost completely clear!!!! Ok so let's get back on track.
This BB cream is fast becoming my favourite product of the moment. I put it on after cleansing, toning and moisturising, and I can honestly say that nothing has ever made my skin more perfect! The formula is coloured but once on the skin it is clear, basically providing no coverage, but when you wear it, it looks pretty damn flawless! I'm not one to leave the house without make up, however I think that I could leave the house just wearing this and no foundation!

It also has an spf in it, therefore protecting your face from sun exposure. Not what I really need for winter, but hey ho, it can't harm! The fact that it also has Witch hazel extract though means that it helps with spots and problem areas. Maybe there is a theory behind this and why your skin looks perfect after?

Anyways, in this photo I also put a thin layer of MAC studio fix foundation, Maybelline FIT powder, MUA blusher in shade 1, Maybelline Colossal mascara, and Collection 2000 red lipstick!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone!! Whether worn underneath foundation or on its own! I'd love to know other peoples thoughts too!!

That's all for now!

Here we have the Bloom "fair normal skin tone" gradual tan. This product was in the sale for £1.99, and I guess I was happy to pay that, but when I found out the original price was £16, I couldn't believe it, so I was really excited to try the magic of the tan! Now i'm not normally a girl that likes to tan, mainly because i'm so pale I reflect the sun, however I like a bit of a gradual tan to give me a glow. I already use the Dove gradual tan, and I 100% swear by it, I love it and would never change it, but to give this a go for nearly 90% off? Why not.
I'll tell you why not. It's rubbish. I really wanted to like this because I think the Bloom make up that I have tried is fantastic! But this just did nothing!!! Bearing in mind i'm extremely fair anyways, gradual tans are normally like spray tans to me, but this did not show up in the slightest. All I ended up with was very yellow insides of my fingers. I looked like I had a disease. It doesn't moisturise that great, and is very highly perfumed. I'm guessing this is to mask the normal "fake tan biscuit" smell, but it's just too strong and not nice at all, and as for moisturising? It's very oily and soaked in super quick but also dried super quick and didn't leave behind much moisture. I guess it has nice packaging though?!
All in all, this product is a 1/10, purely because I may use it one day as a normal body moisturiser!
