I know i've already done a casual outfit build with this fur gilet, but I may well be going out on friday for a few drinks, so I started to put together an outfit I may well wear, so here it is:

Burgandy midi dress by Topshop, Basic black court heels from Dorothy Perkins, and my fur gilet from a charity shop.
I know a lot of you like my outfit building posts so I thought i'd let you in on this one! It's a bit early in the year for me to be wearing fur, but I just love this outfit, and in all fairness, it's starting to get a bit cooler outside, and it isn't really all that sunny either!!

That's all for now! Ciao Bella,

Outfit building, an evening out.

About a week or so ago I bought this top from Topshop, without even really deciding what to wear it with, but I thought, hey, it's white, it's simple, it will go with anything, and £6 for a top in Topshop?! That's insane, and to make it even better, it is now 2 for £10, which to me is perfect for those staple pieces that you really don't want to spend much money on. The throw away pieces, that just look good with anything!

So I decided just to keep it simple, black tube/pencil skirt in a jersey material as well as the top. A chunky gold chain necklace, belt with some gold studs to tie the necklace into the outfit and some chelsea boots to stop it looking TOO casual and sloppy.

How gorgeous is this picture of my necklace?!
These outfit is honestly the comfiest outfit, it really is! I might even chuck a pair of white frilly socks in the boots just to tie the white in with the rest of the outfit. I love keeping looks simple and chic, and I'm a major fan of the monochrome look!!

You can buy the top here, and the skirt here, and they literally have both of these in every colour!! The boots can be found here.

Thank you for all your support to everyone on my blog, every comment, like, follow means the world to me!!

That's all for now,
Ciao bella,

This is only a quick one today as I received my Tangle Teezer compact styler! I've never used a Tangle Teezer before but I quickly decided I needed to jump on the bandwagon with this and give it a try, seeing as I have extensions and they are such a pain to brush out when you get out the shower, as I am forever trying not to pull them out at the same time!

Here is what the Tangle Teezer compact styler looks like:

How cute is it? Pink and black is brilliant, it looks great in my handbag, is not to small but is not too big, and the little protective cover over the bristles so they don't get damaged in your handbag is fantastic. You can buy one of these here.

I tested this on wet and dry hair, and it is unbelievable! I never really got the hype when it first started, I didn't really understand what it did, but now I do. I have always hated my hair being brushed, I always moaned that it hurt, but this is so gentle it doesn't even feel like you are brushing your hair. It is fantastic for extensions for this reason exactly, no tugging on the extensions, no breaking the hair and pulling all the hair out, just brilliant. I don't think I will ever be using another hairbrush again! I need to buy more of these.

Let me know if you've tried a Tangle Teezer and what you think!

Ciao bella,

I have always been into fashion and styling, and recently I've found myself doing a lot of outfit building, not specifically for my blog or anything like that, but just because I enjoy doing it, and I like to have outfits in mind when I want to wear a specific item!

I thought that I would start posting outfit builds on here, as a lot of people have been asking me to do style posts, I just haven't had the time lately with work, but i'm going to be doing a lot more from now on, I promise!!

People have been asking to see how I would style my new Primark cut out boots, so I thought that would be my starting point. I also bought a beautiful fur (not real) gilet from a charity shop for 99p the other day! I'm so excited to start wearing it, I love Autumn Winter fashion!

Primark cut out boots - £20, Topshop grey tube skirt - £20, Sheer shirt - Unbranded, charity shop, any cream or beige long sleeve shirt would look lovely! Faux fur Gilet - 99p - Charity shop.

This is also another outfit from the other day:
Topshop Striped Tee - £16 ( I rolled the sleeves up myself as they are very long) Topshop leather leggings - £18, Asos Rose gold chunky chain necklace - (sold out but you can get a similar on in gold from Topshop for £12.50 here)

Let me know if you like these kind of posts and if there are any requests on how you would like to see me style certain things, just post a comment or email me and i'll be sure to start doing them!

Today I am doing a review on Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel. This product is incredible, read on and i'll tell you why.

So what is Marvel Gel? Basically, Marvel Gel is a facial exfoliant with a difference. The gel is extremely gentle, so much so, that it doesn't even really feel like you are exfoliating, which I think is brilliant for a start! I hate that gritty sandy feeling that you get, that whenever you try to wash it off, it just doesn't all come out and ends up everywhere! Even in my hair!

"Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel works specifically by targeting the cornified skin layer, dissolving and removing dead skin cells on the top most epidermis layer." - Basically in short and sweet terms, it gets rid of dead skin and rubbish that's giving you them spots and blackheads!

Now I must say, i'm a sucker for packaging, anything that looks pretty I seem to have to buy! The packaging isn't pretty in this case but I really do like it, I think it is perfect for the brand and I'm so glad it is a plastic tube. I seem to find with glass I lose so much of the product it's un real, which just seems a bit cheeky to me in all honesty!!

How do I use it?
The first thing I thought about when I got this product was ummm, how do I use it?! You apply to dry skin, with dry fingers, and squeeze a small amount, about the amount you use on a toothbrush and put on your main areas, so nose, forehead, cheeks and chin. You then massage it for about one minute, and the gel will start to get some texture to it. Rinse of afterwards and voila! Beautiful skin in a minute!

This is the gel before it is rubbed in, a green colour (of course) and very thick.

You can't see all that well here but this is after it has been rubbed in. Very light exfoliant.

I can now say that after about a week and a half of testing this, I have noticed a huge difference! My face feels like an angel babies bottom! You can really notice a glow in my skin as well. I didn't realise how dull dead skin cells can make your skin but boy, does it make a difference! My skin is now clearer than it has been in a while! I mean, i've never had really bad skin, but I do get spots in little clusters every month or so and this seemed to banish them before they had even begun!

I will warn you, that the product may break you out in your main problem areas the first few times you use it, as it did with me, however this is purely because it is pulling impurities from your skin, so to get rid of them, you need to get them out first!

Now lastly, I noticed on the side of the packaging it had 10 things that this will "supposedly" do for your skin, so I thought I would rate them out of 10 as well as the other ratings I normally do!

1. Rubs away deep layers of dead skin cells - 10/10 - I assume so as it definitely feels like it! But i'm not getting a microscope out for the sake of this review!
2. Rubs away blackheads painlessly - 9/10 - This definitely does the job! I do have a couple of stubborn little buggers though that just won't budge, but I can't even squeeze them out!
3. Contracts pores for refined skin - 8/10 - I have definitely noticed most my pores are smaller!
4. Lightens black spots and scars *I can't rate this one as I haven't got any dark spots or scars, sorry guys!*
5. Removes oil seeds - 9/10 - I don't know what oil seeds are but My skin is definitely less oily!
6. Regulates sebum secretion to prevent pimples - 9/10 (after the detox period)
7. Brightens dull complexion - 10/10 - YES, YES, YES. By far the best thing I have noticed about this product!
8. Changes dark rough skin to smooth skin - 10/10 - My skin, as I said, is like an angel babies bottom.
9. Evens out skin tone to give skin clarity - *I can't rate this one as I don't have uneven skin tone*
10. Enhances quick absorption of skin care products - 6/10 - it doesn't necessarily enhance it, but it definitely makes it feel nicer!

Price - £19.95 - 8/10 - For me this is very reasonably priced as it really is such a fantastic product, and also such a necessity for me now, but I know for some of you this may seem a little steep for an exfoliant! - You can buy it here. You can also buy samples for £2 here.
Smell - 7/10 - The smell isn't strong at all which in some senses is brilliant, as you don't want super fragranced products on your skin, but I do love a good sniff at products every now and again!

All in all I think that this really is a fantastic product! It is a holy grail product in my eyes and I don't want to be without it again! You should definitely purchase this, I can't stress enough how much you should! I think the whole Ginvera range is simply amazing, they really know your skin and know what it wants and needs!
And last but not least, check out my previous post to enter my Maybelline Giveaway!

Giveaway time!!

Recently I took my birthday money and went into town, with the intention of buying a nice new pair of heeled boots that were comfy enough to wear for long periods of time. Like when i'm at work, or when I go to University. I didn't want to spend too much though, as walking through the streets in England can be almost flooded it rains that much!!

I popped into Primark and I actually had no intention of getting them in there, as in the past Primark boots haven't been all that great, not bad, but not great. But i found the nicest pair of boots that I have ever seen!!

Excuse the terrible photos, my house doesn't like to get any natural light whatsoever! The boots actually look a lot nicer in real life. They are jet black and the photo makes them look very "worn" as in, with creases in the natural bend of the foot etc, but they really aren't too look at in real life!

I just love the gold on the back and on the buckle, it really makes them look that bit more expensive, like you've bought them from Topshop or something! The cut out is also lovely. Not so much that your feet will get soaked, but enough to notice there's a gap in there!

As for comfort these get a 7.5 out of 10. I wore them all day and they didn't hurt, but right at the end is when I started to get a slight pain, on my middle toe on the top believe it or not! I think that may just be because my toe is a bit wonky as it is!!

Well these boots were £20, which I know is a bit expensive for Primark, but seriously, they feel such good quality and they feel like they will last me a long time! There's lovely boots in there at the moment, you should definitely get down there and check!!

That's all for now, don't forget to follow me on GFC and BlogLovin!!
Also within the next week I will be looking at what to get to put in a giveaway for hitting 100 followers on here!
Let me know any of your ideas, or what you would want to see in a giveaway!

My new beautiful Primark boots!

by on August 08, 2013
Recently I took my birthday money and went into town, with the intention of buying a nice new pair of heeled boots that were comfy enough to...
Recently Primark, or Primarni as it is commonly known, has really upped their game with the quality of their clothes. Yes, of course that means that the prices have, and are going up, but it is still cheap in comparison to the majority of high street stores. I'd much rather pay a little more for a pair of decent quality Primark boots than a lot more in another high street store for that of the same quality!

The AW13 range is no different. Incorporating a lot of tartan and faux leather into their designs this season has done the brand a lot of favours, and has increased my interest in the trends this autumn/winter. The prices are slightly higher, and in turn, the quality looks brilliant!

Here are some of my favourites from the reveal of their new collection:

In the first picture, the tartan dress would not be something I would normally go for, however the model makes it look expensive and tasteful. I love this dress and I really hope they bring it into stores and I can get my hands on one!
The coat on the far right also looks so effortlessly chic and pretty. I'd feel very Kate Middleton esque in this.
No doubt these products will sell out quick and parts of the collection are already coming into stores, so i'd suggest keeping your eyes peeled whenever you go in to good ol' Primarni to check if anything comes in early.
These are some of my other favourites from the collection:

These items are just some of my favourite. Just look how classy and well made they look! The coat looks like it should be made by Celine, the biker trousers and cut out top look very Topshop and the shoes look like they're born in Zara!

I can't wait to get my hands on some key pieces from Primark this month! Let me know what you all think about the collection, and also the pricing increase!!

Don't forget to follow me on GFC and BlogLovin! I will do a giveaway very soon, so keep your beady eyes peeled!

Primark AW13 best of the best.

by on August 07, 2013
Recently Primark, or Primarni as it is commonly known, has really upped their game with the quality of their clothes. Yes, of course that me...
Today I thought I would let you all know what I got for my birthday, as I love reading blog posts about things like that. I'm not sure why really, maybe I'm just a bit nosey, or maybe just to see what things are about that may be worth purchasing, you know, those things you normally don't want to buy because of how much they are, but also, maybe just because it gives a good idea on what to buy other people for their birthdays! I don't know. Well anyway, enough rambling.

Just as a little disclaimer, please don't write any negative comments down below. I am no way bragging or anything like that, and yes I didn't pay for anything I will write about, but I am extremely grateful and thankful for everything I received, no matter how big or how small!

So anyways, back to the post! As it was my 21st I received a couple of really beautiful things that I can keep and have wanted for a really, really long time! My main two presents were off my parents, I received this beautiful purse from Ted Baker:

This is a close up of the pattern. It's a pale pastel pink kind of colour with almost a water colour floral effect throughout. The detail is amazing. There are some parts that are almost blurred (printed purposefully that way of course.) It gives a really pretty almost vintage effect to the print.
And of course it comes with the trusty bow clips for your change with the "T" and "B" initials in pretty writing. The gems are like a pale purple/pink and are surrounded with the rose gold coloured metal. The zip across the back is also rose gold!
I should probably also mention that the purse is real leather, and comes with a cute little booklet of how to care for your leather. I love Ted Baker, especially the purses and this one was like nothing I've ever seen before!

The second thing that my parents bought me was a watch from Larson and Jennings:

This is quite possibly the most classy, beautiful watch i've ever seen. I did ask for this one specifically, because just look at it. I've never seen a watch so beautiful in all my life! It has a black watch face with gold numbers/lines on it with a gold outer casing and a suede black strap with the logo very faintly embossed to the side of the strap. I love how flat the watch face is on this as well. And the strap fits my tiny wrists perfectly with no over hang or without me needing to punch in extra holes.
I also got some other things. I got my dressing table paid for, a new tattoo, which you can see here, a beautiful pocket watch off my brother which you can see here, 2 lovely new bags, some soap and glory bits, Moroccan oil, and I also got some money, of which I have bought some lovely things with that I will probably post about soon.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to follow me on GFC and BlogLovin

What I got for my birthday.

by on August 06, 2013
Today I thought I would let you all know what I got for my birthday, as I love reading blog posts about things like that. I'm not sure w...

Today I am going to be doing a review on the famous "Ginvera, green tea nude cover BB cream." The lovely people at Ginvera sent me 2 samples (8g each) to test, try, and review. I will say now that they have in no way sent me these products with the expectation of a positive review. All thoughts are my own and are no way influenced by the company.

That being said, I have had the opportunity to test this product in all it's glory. In the sun, rain, wind, you name it. The classic British weather has really given this product a run for it's money and I in all honesty, couldn't be happier with the product!

This is what I received:

I received 2 samples, of the same product. They came with a lovely little note from the company and also a leaflet of information on the BB cream. They also came in a cute little organza bag with a pretty little wooden heart attached. It's the little things that count!

The first time that I tested this, was in our beautiful heatwave! I'm not one for leaving the house without ANY make up, and as it was boiling hot and I was about to go into town (and the beach might I add), I opted for this instead of a foundation. I thought, I may as well check it's uses out in all different weather, so I gave it a go and I was quite honestly gob smacked!

I wore the BB cream from 10am until 6pm and I had been beaching it during the day as well and it did not budge! The BB cream lasted all day, looked completely natural and also offered an SPF of 30 so I didn't end up going home with a patchy burnt face.

I also tested it out in the beautiful rain when I got back off my holiday. I got so many compliments at work saying " you should go au natural and wear less make up more often, your skin is flawless!" Little did they know I was wearing this beauty!

The product states that it suits all skin tones, and for me it was absolutely perfect! I wear a MAC shade NW15 and a Revlon color stay shade "buff" and this matched me perfectly. So us pale girls have no need to worry!

For any further information about the product, visit their website here.

This is a swatch of the product on my lovely pale hand:

The BB cream appears very grey until blended, and then it matches perfectly. So do not be scared by the colour! It also feels slightly watery, making it apply to the skin effortlessly and also giving a flawless blendable finish.

This is the BB cream blended. It may not look like great coverage but I thought I would use my freckle as a point of origin. This is a very dark freckle and my MAC and my Revlon foundations don't even cover it, so I think this proves the coverage is decent.

So, ratings:

Coverage: 80% - This is not the highest of coverage, but I don't want that from a BB cream, It gives a decent amount, enough to cover all my blemishes, therefore for me this is perfect.
Irritation: 100% - no irritation for me!
SPF - 100% - You barely get SPF in any foundation or BB cream let alone one as high as 30!
Skin types: 70% - My skin is pretty normal to combination and this gives a dewy finish. It was ok for me, however if you have very oily skin I would suggest wearing it with a setting powder.
Price: 65% I'm not keen on how much it costs as it is just a BB cream and not a foundation, however it is cheaper than my MAC foundation and does give a lovely effect so I would definitely re purchase. You only need the tiniest bit too so it would last a while.

You can purchase this BB cream here!

That's it for now! Sorry it has been so long since my last review or post, i've been moving house and it's my 21st birthday this weekend! Woop! Any requests please let me know, and don't forget to follow me via google friend connect and Bloglovin! Keep a beady eye out as I will be posting a lot more now I have more space and time!
