This post is a style post for the House of Fraser Inspired by Mum competition for Mothers day.
This is such a great competition as I love my mum to bits and she is truly an inspiration to me, therefore although this is a style post based on my mum, it is also a post celebrating her values, how she has inspired me and her generally as a mother!

My mum was always flawless and had the best style when she was younger. She was always on trend but always looked very sophisticated and chic. There are 2 photos I remember of my mum when she first had me and just before. One is of my mum with her beautiful brunette perm, looking totally 90s in her baggy white t shirt and jeans similar to those of the mom jeans we see around so much now, and the other was her wearing a red lace bralet underneath a white 2 piece suit, a blazer and trousers.

The main thing I will always remember her saying to me is that she wanted to be a buyer when she was younger, and for some reason that has stuck with me ever since and I'm now studying a BA Hons in fashion with the hopes of working in the fashion industry, with becoming a buyer constantly on my mind along with a few other job titles.

Anyways on to the look!

I chose this outfit because my mum loves this style skirt, as our family was blessed with the big bum syndrome these shape skirts are extremely flattering, I therefore wanted to keep this part true to my mums taste!

Now, my mum wouldn't be seen dead in a crop top, but due to her true 90s style from when she was younger, I decided to pair a crop with this skirt to make it look more modern.

Skirt - Topshop, Crop top - Topshop, Necklace - Primark, Watch - Larson and Jennings, Shoes - Primark

With the weather picking up, to complete this look I'd pick a beautiful pair of oversized sunglasses, such as these ones here from House of Fraser. Effortlessly chic, and well, my mum would agree!

So, how does your mum inspire you?

If you want to enter the competition yourself you can find the entry post here.

Ciao Bella!
Wishing all your mums a lovely mothers day!

Inspired by Mum - House Of Fraser

Today I am going to talk to you about a product that is fairly new to me called Maylash. Maylash is an eyelash serum like no other, it promises the same results as other eyelash serums, but according to reviews, actually works!

It promises to create naturally longer, denser and fuller lashes within as little as 1 - 3 months, while using ingredients that will not irritate your eyes unlike other serums. It also does not contain prostoglandins, a medical grade substance that can cause some horrid side effects, often found in eyelash serums, (google it it's cringey).

Some of the claims are:

Upto 70% longer, 30% denser, and 40% fuller eyelashes. Just check out this example:

As you can see it has made a clear difference to this ladies eyelashes!
I have just received this product and I am so excited to try it. Of course as soon as I have tested it out for long enough to notice the difference, I will be posting a full review on here, with my own before and after videos.

In the meantime you guys can all get 30% off with my discount code 'natasha30' but please note this code only works for 10 days!
The original price is only £49, which makes it £34.30 with the discount, nearly £15 off, which may sound a lot to some people, but bear in mind this product lasts 3 - 4 months and it much cheaper than eyelash extensions/all those fake eyelashes!

To check out the website click here, there's also a brilliant video you can watch on this link explaining in even further detail about the product, as well as more before and after photos, find this here!

That's all for now, check back for the updated review!

I used Clinique a while back, and it gave me a horrendous allergic reaction, well, at least I thought it did. In fact it must have been something else I was using as I tried it again a few weeks back and it was amazing. After my skin suffering a major blow from MAC studio fix in which I broke out in some of the most horrendous spots, I decided to try a different foundation, Clinique even better. Within less than a week my skin cleared up and the foundation actually stayed on my skin, and didn't melt off like most other foundations i've tried!

The foundation worked so well, that I decided to test out the skincare and was stunned. This take the day off cleansing milk feels amazing on the skin, and really does get all my make up off, leaving my skin feeling fresh and soothed.

I haven't used much of Clinique's products, but I can definitely rate these two! Have you ever tried Clinique? What's your favourite product?

That's all for now!
